New to Antioch?

We want it to be easy for you to come to church. We want you to experience a great time in worship and meet friendly people who will welcome you into the family of Antioch Community Church. When visiting any new group you may have many questions. We've put together a list of the most commonly asked questions below but if you have something else you're wondering about, feel free to ask us.

Where are you located?
Our address is 4805 NE Antioch Road, Kansas City, MO — Get Directions.

Where do I park?
We have lots of parking right around the church. Handicap parking is available behind the church, to provide easy access to the elevator. If you need assistance, feel free to ask any of the greeters.

Where do I go?
As you enter the church, you will see signs for our coffee bar where you can enjoy some home cooking and a nice cup of coffee or juice. The coffee bar is open on Saturdays between 4:30 - 5pm and Sunday between 10 - 10:30am.

What should I wear?
Dress comfortably. We're more concerned with meeting your needs than focusing on what you wear. While some people do choose to wear their "Sunday best," most people wear casual clothing. You'll probably see some of us walking around in flip-flops and t-shirts. We only ask that you be modest and appropriate in what you choose to wear to worship.

What do I need to bring?
A Bible will help you follow along in both worship and Bible Study. If you have a Bible, bring it with you. If you don't have a Bible, copies are located in the Sanctuary and in Bible Study classrooms for your use.

When do I need to arrive?
Saturday evening worship services begin promptly at 5pm. The coffee bar opens at 4:30pm on Saturdays.
Sunday morning Worship services begin promptly at 10:30am. Bible Study classes meet at 9:20am. The coffee bar opens at 10am on Sundays.
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the service/class time to allow adequate time for parking and getting to the Sanctuary/Bible Study class.

What is the Coffee Bar?
30 minutes before service, we have snacks and beverages available for everyone. This is a good time to visit with friends, make new acquaintances or have something good to snack on. The coffee bar is free to all, however we do accept a freewill donation (we don't ask for one).

Is the church handicap accessible?
Yes. There is reserved parking behind the church. The building is also equipped with wheelchair accessible entrances, an elevator and handicap accessible restrooms. Should you need assistance, please call the church office (816-452-7833) ahead of time and we'll be waiting on you to help you get to where you're going.

Where do my children go?
We offer fun, age appropriate lessons for all ages from the nursery (newborns through 4 years), children and youth meet throughout the building.

How are visitors recognized?
The last thing we want to do is single you out or put you on the spot. We ask visitors to fill out our attendance register which will be distributed at the beginning of service. Please help yourself to a welcome packet located in each pew. We'll never ask you to stand up or call you out in any way. We want you to have a wonderful experience at Antioch and we strive to create a friendly and comfortable environment to make you feel right at home.

We hope you'll join us at the Intersection of Life and Hope!
